Chisapani Nagarkot Hiking routes are one of the most popular hiking trails in Nepal.The place is One of the Most beautiful trail where you can find the greenery and the grassland in that area.It
takes 2 nights and 3 days but  it is  one of the beautiful hiking trails.

Nagarkot is a famous Place to see the sunrise and sunset view followed by the mountain ranges.Nagarkot, situated at the height of 2175 meters,  is the highest point of the Chisapani Nagarkot trek, during which you will hike mostly through Shivapuri watershed forest and villages.  During clear weather on Chisapani Nagarkot trek one can see western mountain Manaslu, Boudha Himal, Ganesh Himal range, Langtang range, Dorjelakpa, Shisapangma and Gaurishankar.

Beside these beautiful places we will visit Changunarayan temple. It is the great chance to observe religious practice of Nepali people and their culture.

Details Itinerary

Day 01-Arrival KathmanduUpon arrival at Kathmandu airport, transfer to hotel.

Day 02-SightseeingGuided sightseeing tour of popular attraction in Kathmandu. Overnight at hotel

 Day 03-Kathmandu - Sundarijal - Chisapani (2300M) Drive from Kathmandu to Sundarijal takes approximately one hour and trek from Sunjdarijal to Chisapani takes about four and half hours. The trail will enter through the Shivpuri Watershed and Wildlife Reserve. The first settlement you will come across is Mulkharka with Tamang habitants. The route heads down the ridge through a forest of oaks and rhododendron to Chisopani (2300m.). Overnight at teahouse


Day 04-Chisapani - Nagarkot (2175M)Trek from Chisapani to Nagarkot takes about six and half hours. Your trek starts to Chauki Bhanjag, which takes about 2 and half hours. You continue the charming trails leading you toward Nagarkot. Nagarkot, (2175m) is by far one of the most popular destination. In the clear weather the Himalaya range, stretching from Dhaulagiri in the west all the way past Everest to Kanchenjunga in the east, emerges from the darkness to greet the happy visitor with its awe inspiring majesty and beauty. Day 05-Nagarkot - Changunarayan - Kathmandu.Trek from Nagarkot to Changunarayan takes approximately three and half hours and drive from Changunarayan to Kathmandu takes about one and half hours. The most popular walk leads down from Nagarkot along a ridge to the temple of Changu Narayan-with views of Sankhu village to the right and Bhaktapur to the left. Changunarayan is situated at the end of a long ridge which runs well into the valley, it is said to have been built in 323 AD by King Hari Datta Varma. The temple is richly decorated with sculptures and carvings. It is said to be the oldest temple in the valley. After excursion in and around Changunarayan you board the vehicle to get back to Kathmandu. Overnight at hotel
